Addresses
Where to find it: Manage → Companies → select a company → Addresses
Addresses are the shipping addresses saved against a company. Each one has a short title and the usual postal details, and they’re used when placing orders, so you can pick a saved address rather than re-typing it each time.
Addresses belong to a company: administrators see the addresses for their own company and any companies beneath it, while regular users and viewers don’t have access to this section.
Before You Begin
Before adding or managing addresses:
• Make sure you have administrator access: addresses are managed by administrators.
• Have the full postal address ready, including the state and ZIP code.
• Note that addresses are for United States locations only.
The Address List
The Addresses page shows each saved address as a card, displaying its title, street address, city, state, country, and ZIP code. Each card has Edit and Delete buttons.
Address Details
Each address holds the following:

|
City |

|
Override address validation |
An option to skip the address check and save the address exactly as entered (see below). |
Address Checking
When you save an address, it’s checked against an address-verification service to make sure it’s a real, deliverable location. If the address matches, or the service can confidently correct it to a match, it’s accepted, and any minor corrections are applied automatically.
If the address can’t be verified, it isn’t saved, and you’ll see a message asking you to be more specific and check for any errors.
Override address validation skips this check and saves the address exactly as you typed it. Use it only when you&re confident the address is correct but the verification service doesn&t recognise it; for example, a brand-new building.
Tip If a valid address is being rejected, double-check the street, city, state, and ZIP for small errors first. If everything’s right and it still won’t verify, the override is there as a fallback.
Adding, Editing, and Deleting Addresses
To Add an Address
1. On the Addresses page, choose to add a new address.
2. Enter a title, the street address, and the city, state, and ZIP code.
3. Save. The address is checked and, if verified, added to the list.
To Edit an Address
1. Click Edit on the address card.
2. Update the details.
3. Save. The same address check applies.
To Delete an Address
1. Click Delete on the address card.
2. Confirm when prompted.
Important: Deleting an address is permanent, as there's no way to recover it afterwards. Make sure an address is no longer needed before removing it.
How Addresses Are Used
Saved addresses come into play when placing an order: the order records which address it’s shipping to, and the shipping cost is worked out from that address. Keeping your addresses accurate and up to date means order shipping is calculated correctly.
Note: Because addresses feed into order shipping, it’s worth keeping the list tidy — accurate titles make the right address easy to pick at order time.
Best Practices
• Use clear titles. A recognisable title (like “Main Office” or “East Warehouse”) makes the right address easy to choose when ordering.
• Let the check do its job. The address check catches typos and undeliverable addresses — only override it when you’re sure the address is correct.
• Keep the list current. Remove addresses you no longer use, and remember that deletion is permanent.
