Ad-Network Content
Where to find it: Content → Playlists → open a playlist (ad-network items appear as rows)
Playlists can include content from connected advertising networks (Adomni, AdStash, Vistar, and Vengo). These items are inserted automatically by the integration and appear as ordinary rows in the editor, but they behave differently from the content you add yourself.
Note Ad-network integrations are set up per company. See the Companies article for how they’re connected.
How Ad-Network Items Behave
Because these items are managed by the advertising network rather than by you, they come with some restrictions:
• Their duration, start time, and end time are fixed and can’t be changed.
• They can’t be reordered, as they have no drag handle.
• They can’t be duplicated.
• They can’t be edited from the file’s edit page.
Rejecting an Item
If a particular ad-network item isn’t suitable, you can reject it. Rejecting removes it from the playlist and prevents the integration from re-inserting it for 30 days.
On the playlists list, the Vast content column shows Yes for any playlist that currently contains ad-network items, so you can tell at a glance which playlists include them.
