Playlist Reports

Where to find it: Manage → Reports

Two reports give you an overview of your playlists: Playlists Durations, a summary of each playlist’s running time, and Playlists Files, a detailed list of the files inside your playlists. Both can be viewed on screen and downloaded for sharing or record-keeping.

Playlists Durations

This report lists every playlist within your access, sorted by name, with three columns: name, company, and total playback time. The columns can be sorted, and any deleted playlists are highlighted so they stand out.

You can download the report as a PDF (an A4 portrait document with the Omnially logo, the report name, and the date), which is useful for sharing a snapshot of playback times or keeping a record.

Playlists Files

This report goes a level deeper, listing every file across all of your playlists. It’s ordered by company and then playlist, and shows the following for each file:

Column

Description

Company

The company that owns the playlist.

Playlist

The playlist the file belongs to.

File name

The file’s original name.

File type

The kind of file: for example, Video or Image.

Tags

The file’s two content tags.

Duration

How long the file plays, in seconds.

You can download this report as a PDF (A4 landscape) or as a CSV, whichever suits how you want to use the information.

Best Practices

Use Durations for a quick overview. It’s the fastest way to see how long each playlist runs.

Use Files for detail. When you need to know exactly what’s playing and for how long, the Files report breaks it down file by file.

Choose the right download. Use a PDF for sharing or printing, and a CSV when you want to work with the data in a spreadsheet.
