Size Restrictions & Export
Where to find it: Content → Playlists → playlist settings and menu
This article covers two related areas: keeping a playlist’s media to a consistent size, and the ways you can copy, preview, and export a playlist.
Size Restrictions
Setting Restrict size on a playlist asks every item to match a chosen shape or size. Items that don’t match stay in the playlist but are flagged, because they won’t display correctly on the device.

Mode |
What it requires |
|
Aspect Ratio |
Each item’s shape (its width-to-height ratio) must match the playlist’s ratio. |
|
Size (pixels) |
Each item’s exact width and height must match the playlist’s. |
Note A flagged item is shown with a struck-out style so it’s easy to spot. It stays in the playlist, but won’t render properly until replaced with correctly sized media.
Copying and Previewing
Two options help you reuse and check a playlist:
• Copy : duplicates the playlist within the same company. The copy gets a name with a timestamp, and all items carry over with their durations, schedules, tags, and transitions.
• Preview : opens a full-screen preview in your browser, without affecting any devices.
Exporting and Printing

What it produces |
|
A printable summary showing a thumbnail and details for each item. You can choose a subset of items before downloading. |
|
Export |
Downloads the playlist as a package file for a chosen platform, for use outside the dashboard. |
• Fix flagged items promptly. Replace struck-out media with correctly sized files so everything displays as intended.
• Copy before experimenting. Duplicate a playlist before trying major changes, so you keep the original intact.
• Use the PDF to share for approval. A printable summary is handy for sign-off without dashboard access.
